Car hire with 18yo as additional driver?

Does anyone know of a company that will allow an 18 year old be an additional driver when hiring a car? Is it something that will be negotiable with the company directly? My dad and I are planning to drive to the east midlands and it is a long journey and my dad suffers with pain in his accelerator foot so it would be good if i could drive it when he gets tired or if his foot is painful.
